Prayer is the simple act of connecting with God. It is an important way to connect and converse with the God who yearns to be in relationship with us.
Prayer is an act of allowing ourselves to connect with Him - to praise Him, to thank Him, to reach out in gratitude to the God who blesses us.
Prayer is a time to ask for healing, to ask for God’s love to be evident, to ask for strength, to ask for help, to ask for guidance, to ask for comfort, or to ask for peace.
Sometimes we can speak the necessary words to converse with God. Other times we need help in finding the words to ask God for His help.
The key in praying to God is that we don't have to say the correct words because we have a spokesperson - it is Jesus Christ. He is our willing advocate. And so we pray in Jesus' name.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. James: 4:8 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6-7

Marriage not working out
