"Arkeology"

This Sunday, June 6, worship will feature a very special gift--"Arkeology", the Gospel Gang musical. This year's musical is based upon the story of Noah's Ark, so you can expect to see lots of "animals" who were cleverly disguised as children just last week! You'll also be meeting "Noah"--still alive after all these years--and hearing the wonderful promises of God. The music is lively, the costumes are precious, and the setting is cute. You'll also be seeing great cameos from the Angel and Cherub choirs, who fit into this year program seamlessly.

Many of you know that Lesley Sirianni picked this musical and planned the program for it some weeks before she left, but you may not know that Emily Anderson has done a terrific job of "picking up the pieces" that Lesley left behind. Thus, Emily's helpers are building sets, making costumes, and rehearsing lines with their children even as I write these words. Within the next few days, a lively band will be rehearsing with the children, and Sunday morning will sound great because of them.

As you can see, it takes a lot of people to make these programs work, but the result of their effort is pure joy. Thus, I hope that you can join us for a Sunday of faith and fun, and I hope you'll bring some other people, too.
